Dear readers, This is the last chapter of "A Monk's Lovesickness". Am I the only one who doesn't want to end this? Probably, LOL. I can't help but yearn for someone like Soushun-san. Now that it has come to an end, I can finally focus on "Hero Suddenly Proposed". The first chapter of the third volume will be released this weekend, as well as the second chapter for the donors. ^_^ I'm excited to follow Aria and Greed's journey with you, guys. See you~ Epilogue - Kano’s Newly-Married Life It is the day before the wedding. Today is the last day of my single life at home.
Up until now, the days went by without me being particularly conscious of it, but when I do leave home, I will feel lonely. As is often seen on TV and dramas, the bride would feel this before the wedding…… I wonder if my family would feel as lonely as I am. Thinking that way, I asked everyone what they were feeling at the time of the family get-together dinner. “Well, today is the last night of my singlehood, but are you going to become lonely when I get married?”

Chapter 8 - Kano Undergoes Bridal Training “Kuzuhara-san, I was worried that you’re not feeling well these days, but it seems that you’re doing fine now. But, are you actually tired? What’s going on this time?”
Right now, we are cleaning the floor before the store opens. Yokota-san, who has been working since the morning shift, looked at me suspiciously as she mopped. Gently averting my gaze, I . . . laughed ambiguously. Chapter 7 - Kano Silently Contemplates Will you become my temple’s bride?
After I returned from Hazekura-san’s house, my mind was filled with this. Even though I like him, I feel irresistibly apprehensive when I think of becoming a temple’s bride. Aside from that, what Arikawa-san said that day won’t disappear in my mind. Are you prepared to marry into the temple...... During my late break from work. Seeing me sighing many times, Yokota-san in front of me tilted her head enigmatically. “Kuzuhara-san, is something wrong? Oh, could it be...... something happened with that super handsome boyfriend of yours......?” Hello, everyone! Sorry for the long wait. I hope you all would forgive me. Today I'm only going to release the chapter and would make a separate announcement post. For now, please enjoy~ Chapter 10 - Kano Prepares for Her Wedding Seasons have changed, and soon it will be spring. The spring, which I would casually welcome every year, will be a little different for me this year.
“So, are you ready?” It was our lunch break at my workplace. The store owner’s wife, Miyoko-san, asked me, who was eating my meal, with a bright smile. Chapter 6 - Kano Goes to the House of the Hazekura’s And so the promised day arrived.
Wearing a one piece dress about 10 cm below the knees with a jacket, I was set to go with Hazekura-san, who came driving his car to pick me up, to his family’s house. Going to his family’s house for the first time, I examined my clothes and manners last night and committed them to my head. But I do not know exactly what to watch out for in the temple, and my anxious feelings still haven’t vanished. Since it was his day off, instead of his usual monk’s clothes, he casually dressed into a polo shirt and chino pants. I felt excited by his appearance, and my tension increased more and more. Chapter 4 - Kano Proposes a Marriage Interview One day after work was finished, I opened the door of our house and there were unfamiliar shoes at the entrance.
But I somehow understood it with one glance. I’m pretty sure that it is my uncle...... Uncle who lives in the same district as us and my father are quite close to each other. Therefore it is not unusual for Uncle to come to our house. However, because he said so many things to me regarding marriage during the memorial service, my mood sank a little. When I entered the living room with a heavy steps, somehow the merry Uncle stood up and greeted me. "Oh!! Kano! I have been waiting for you.” Chapter 3 - Kano Concedes ―Sigh . . . It going to be a busy lunch time soon. It is not the kind of a happy-go-lucky sigh, but it’s because I’ve been feeling depressed lately.
“Kuzuhara-san . . . you’ve been sighing a lot lately, do you have any worries?” “......Manager . . . There are times when everyone failed, right . . . ?” While looking at far distance, I asked for the manager’s affirmation. At my sudden question, the manager became slightly confused. “Well, uhh...... Kuzuhara-san, by chance did you do something but failed?” Chapter 2 - Kano Runs Away “Kuzuhara-san, what’s wrong?”
When I was called by the manager, I suddenly came to my senses. This is not good. I am in the middle of work...! It is currently lunch time in Sumiretei, a well-established Western restaurant. Although it is a period of time wherein everyone is busy moving around, I was looking absentmindedly at the sky. “I’m sorry. It’s nothing.” Chapter 1 - Kano’s Encounter “Eh, it’s not the usual monk?”
“Well, you see, it seems that Katou-san strained his back. His disciple might come this year.” The Bon festival started that hot summer day. My mother told me as she decorated the shouryoudana (shelf with offerings for welcoming the spirits of one’s ancestors during the Bon Festival) with the eggplant cow and cucumber horse she made. During the Bon festival, the monk would visit each of his parishioners’ houses in order to chant sutras in front of the shouryoudana. 2 chapters left for "A Monk's Lovesickness". So, what I decided to do was translate the two novels alternatively, and after finishing the "A Monk's Lovesickness", I'm going to focus on "Hero Suddenly Proposed". *wink* It will be a new month tomorrow. The day of my exams is fast approaching. Sigh! Anyway, I read all your comments! Thank you so much for the understanding and kindness (T_T) You made me feel fired up to translate. XD Chapter 9 - Kano Had Another Meeting Today is my day off.
I stayed inside the Japanese-style room at home and, from morning, silently practiced wearing kimono. It’s because when I’m at home, I try to wear kimono as long as I could. The kimono I use for practice is that of my deceased grandmother. Fortunately, my grandmother was tall when she was still alive, so I can wear it without any problems. Thanks to my grandmother’s kimono, I was able to use it every day. |
